Accredited Practitioner Coaching Skills Programme
Who is the programme for?
Our Practitioner level programme is for anyone who wants to become an internal coach or to use their accreditation independently within the Health & Social Care sector.
We offer accreditation through theĀ European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC). Completion of the programme leads to the European Quality Award (EQA) at Practitioner level, with an option to independently upgrade to the European Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Foundation or Practitioner level depending on experience.
What do participants learn?
Participants will learn the fundamental pillars of coaching, and will build on this learning through a combination of teaching, practice both in the classroom and with real coachees, online learning and reflective writing.

The programme builds on the content described in our 4 day Foundation Coaching Skills programme, and extends participantsā knowledge and understanding of coaching through addition of the following content:
- Coaching to develop insights
- Positive psychology and coaching
- Meaning and purpose in coaching
- Transformational coaching
- Coaching for change and transition
- Coaching through ambiguity and complexity
- Coaching for leadership development
- Coaching and behaviour change
Participants will develop advanced skills practice in coaching models, conversation frames and techniques with constructive feedback from expert practitioners. There will also be an advanced practical skills assessment and reflection process.
On successful completion of the programme, participants will be eligible for the EMCC EQA award at Practitioner level, and can apply for their European Individual Accreditation (EIA) subject to completing the required coaching hours.
