At TPC Health, we are dedicated to enhancing community health by equipping individuals with the skills necessary to address health disparities and promote well-being.
Our apprenticeships are perfect for organisations that aspire to address the causes of poor health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities, and support people to identify what matters to them and build on their strengths to improve health and wellbeing. Having a holistic whole person approach regarding physical, mental and social health and wellbeing resilience, and understanding the local and accessible services and resources available to which people in your communities can be signposted enables you to support their health and wellbeing needs
Community Health and Wellbeing workers are a rapidly expanding work force supporting the increasing emphasis across government departments on improving the health of local people and communities. TPC Health can now partner with your organisation and deliver a Community Health and Wellbeing Worker apprenticeship, which will improve the health and wellbeing of your patients, prevent illness where possible and reduce inequalities across the community.
The Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker Apprenticeship develops a confident, skilled, and community-focused workforce ready to tackle health inequalities and promote local wellbeing. The programme equips learners to engage, support, and empower individuals and communities — especially those facing disadvantage. Apprentices gain the tools to build trust, foster resilience, and support positive change through personalised, strengths-based approaches. They also learn how to connect people with services, encourage behaviour change, and understand the social factors that influence health.
Our apprenticeship is for individuals in community-facing roles who support people to improve their health, access services, and navigate life challenges. It’s ideal for those working directly with individuals, families, and communities to promote wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.
To be eligible to complete this apprenticeship, learners need to be employed for the duration of the programme, and ideally working 25+ hours per week.
Our funded Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker Apprenticeship prepares professionals to work collaboratively with individuals and communities, identifying and addressing health needs to improve overall well-being.
