Recognise, respond to, and support mental health challenges in the workplace

Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised training course aimed at teaching people how to identify signs of mental ill health and offer initial assistance. MHFA plays a crucial role in creating a supportive environment where people can openly discuss mental health and receive the necessary help.

Like physical first aid, MHFA equips individuals to recognise warning signs of mental ill health and effectively support others in finding appropriate help. Implementing MHFA training within organisations and communities promotes open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma and fostering a positive culture.

Our programme aims to support individuals to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence in aiding and guiding others towards the right support for mental health issues.

  • Understanding some of the risk factors that contribute to poor mental health
  • Recognising the symptoms of possible poor mental health
  • Learning and practicing positive conversations for mental health first aid
  • Managing the boundaries between mental health first aid and appropriate professional help
  • Understanding how to look after your own health and wellbeing

Great course with lots of interaction from presenters and participants, Lots of content for further research and knowledge building.”

“It really enhanced the experience being able to meet people in different roles and professions, I think it helped broaden the learning and see how it can be applied.”

The trainers are highly experienced, professional and supportive, the training materials are really well laid out and of excellent quality and the support by the admin team is of the highest standard. Highly recommended.”
