Team Coaching Skills

Providing coaches and team leaders with the skills, models and techniques needed to coach their teams effectively

Team coaching is often used in organisations to boost team dynamics, improve leadership, and align groups around strategic objectives. It can be particularly effective for teams undergoing change, working on complex projects, or looking to improve their overall teamwork and outcomes.

“Brilliant course with good resources to apply to practice in the future, well presented and very engaging

Andrew was a great facilitator. really held space for what we needed and welcomed and engage with criticality.”

Develop the coaching capabilities within your organisation that can guide your teams toward greater collaboration, alignment, and high performance.

TPC Health’s experienced coaching professionals bring a deep expertise in team coaching and behavior change. We use evidence-based approaches and a wealth of practical knowledge in our Team Coaching Skills programme to support team leaders to maximise the effectiveness of their teams through using a coaching approach.

Since it is often teams, not individuals, who are tasked with achieving organisational goals, it is vital that they work as efficiently as possible. However, the reality of modern teamwork is that people are rarely in the same place at the same time, and meetings are often sporadic and difficult to manage. Despite this being the norm, it rarely leads to optimum results. Team coaching is a powerful tool that brings individuals together to develop their skills, awareness and efficiency, leading to a more focused overall performance.

This highly experiential programme offers participants the chance to observe live coaching demonstrations, practice Team Coaching techniques, and receive constructive, in-depth feedback from both faculty and peers.

  • Facilitating effective communication, collaboration and performance within teams.
  • Core team coaching models and frameworks with opportunities for observation and practice
  • Learning to manage group dynamics, give constructive feedback, and maintain psychological safety
  • Supporting teams to set clear measurable goals aligned to organisational objectives
  • Identifying opportunities and focussing on small changes to embed a Team Coaching approach into your role

This is an interactive programme with an emphasis on skill practice and development. The programme will be delivered using a highly participative and experiential learning process supported by expert input. We will provide a set of tools and techniques to support participants to work effectively with Teams.

The programme involves many opportunities to practice Team Coaching skills so participants will learn to work confidently with the approach. We emphasise skills for embedding learning through on-going practice, reflection and planning as reflexive practitioners. During and between workshops we will emphasise on-going practice, reflection and planning as reflexive practitioners.
