How the apprenticeship works

Four clear stages take you from enrolment to qualification.

1

Onboarding

Complete eligibility and application forms, meet your tutor for a skills assessment, and get set up on the learning platform. We tailor your learning plan to your experience and needs.

2

On-programme learning

A blend of workshops, webinars, coaching practice, action learning sets, and community-based projects. 20% of your working hours go to off-the-job training, integrated into your role.

3

Gateway review

You, your employer, and TPC Health meet to confirm you have met the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours. Your portfolio of evidence demonstrates readiness for the final assessment.

4

Apprenticeship assessment

An independent assessor conducts a knowledge test, a live observation, and a structured interview supported by your portfolio. Pass this and your apprenticeship certificate is issued.
