Our Health Coaching training programmes can support your health and care teams to integrate a health coaching approach into their practice to improve patient outcomes, enhance self-management of chronic conditions, and promote healthier behaviours. This approach focuses on helping individuals take ownership of their health and make sustainable changes.
Our training programmes are designed for practitioners who want to apply the principles and techniques of health coaching within another professional role – such as a GP, nurse, physiotherapist, or pharmacist without necessarily being a trained health coach. In this context, the health professional uses health coaching methods, like core coaching frameworks and competencies, behaviour change theory, and goal-setting, to engage and empower patients or clients.
As the healthcare system increasingly prioritises preventive care and patient empowerment, health coaching is becoming an increasingly valuable tool in supporting sustainable health behaviours.
Introductory Level – Core Skills in Health Coaching (2 days) - An introduction to health coaching ideal for integrating a coaching Approach into your clinical or care role.
Intermediate Level – EMCC Accredited Health Coaching (4 days) – For practitioners that want to develop further, and integrate more of a coaching approach into their role.
Advanced Level – EMCC Accredited Health Coaching Practitioner (8 days) – For practitioners wanting to develop expertise in managing complex health and wellness challenges
Health Coaching Train the Trainer – – For organisations who want to develop a team of internal health coach trainers to support the roll-out of large-scale health coaching training
Our renown coaching programmes are designed and delivered by experts in the field of health and wellbeing, who have industry recognised qualifications combined with extensive clinical experience. Our team include psychologists, doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, social workers and psychotherapists, to name but a few. This puts us in a unique position to offer innovative and inspiring programmes to health organisations that want to transform their workforce.
We have over 20 years’ experience providing health coaching and personalised care training and services across the UK. We have led the development of Health Coaching in the health sector since 2008, continually creating new applications of Health Coaching.
To date, we have trained over 15,000 practitioners to successfully implement a coaching approach in their practice, and this has resulted in hundreds of thousands of patients across the UK receiving quality personalised care.
By partnering with TPC Health you will be working with one of the most experienced coaching and mentoring training providers in the UK, with specialist expertise in the health and care sector.
Interactive and Engaging Services: Our programs are designed to be highly interactive and engaging, using a mix of live demonstrations, hands-on practice, individual and group exercises, and context specific evidence-based approaches. This ensures that participants not only understand the theory behind the content but also gain the practical skills needed to apply what they’ve learned.
Strong Client Relationships: At TPC Health, we believe in building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. We work closely with you to understand your challenges, goals, and aspirations, and we are dedicated to being your long-term partner in achieving your health and well-being objectives.
Tailored Solutions to Meet Your Needs: Whether you’re an individual, a small team, or a large organisation, TPC Health offers scalable programmes that can be adapted to fit your size and specific needs. From personalised one-on-one coaching to team-based training, we ensure that our services are as effective and impactful as possible.
At the Forefront of Innovation: We are committed to pioneering solutions that shape the future of healthcare, ensuring better outcomes for patients and providers alike. We are proud to have been at the forefront of many NHS “firsts” including the first health coaching skills development programmes.
Our health and wellbeing facilitators have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the healthcare sector and are practising health and wellbeing coaches. They all hold senior coaching and supervision accreditations with recognised bodies such as the EMCC, ILM and ICF as well as specific health coaching accreditations.
Having extensive experience of work in and with the health and care system our facilitators understand the psychological and practical challenges associated with working with people to enhance personalised care and enable behavioural change.
Our programmes are interactive and take a hands-on format using experiential learning and skills practice to prepare participants to transfer their knowledge into practice and take action.
During each programme participants will have regular opportunities for practicing their coaching skills with their peers during breakout sessions. To support embedding of learning we provide a post-programme call, regular learning e-shots, and access to our free monthly coaching CPD webinars.
All our programmes are developed from evidence-based approaches, incorporating the latest research on behaviour change, psychology, and self-management.
This ensures the training and services you will receive are anchored in empirical and theoretical knowledge and ensures that you stand apart from those using unproven approaches. In addition, we support the EMCC core competencies and believe that coaching development should be grounded in this knowledge.
