The Programme Experience
Give your practitioners the necessary skills and tools to facilitate peer support sessions and action learning sets
This programme is aimed at early career practitioners who would like to learn more about working in groups with their peers, and developing skills for facilitating peer support sessions and action learning sets.
For Health and Wellbeing Coaches this would be appropriate for practitioners at Tier 1 or early in Tier 2 levels.
Participants will learn the key behaviours, skills and techniques used by ALS facilitators and how they can integrate this into their roles to improve their own performance and that of those they are supporting.
Examples of how this programme has been applied:
The programme is structured as three half day workshops, delivered bi-weekly to allow participants to practice their developing skills. Prior to the workshops, participants are onboarded through a reflective process and briefing pack that supports them to prepare appropriately and gain maximum value from the sessions.
This is an interactive programme with an emphasis on skill practice and development. The programme will be delivered using a highly participative and experiential learning process supported by expert input. We will provide a set of tools and techniques to support participants to work effectively with peer learning, and facilitating peer support sessions.
The programme involves many opportunities to practice peer learning and action learning facilitation skills so participants will learn to work confidently with the approach. We emphasise skills for embedding learning through on-going practice, reflection and planning as reflexive practitioners. During and between workshops we will emphasise on-going practice, reflection and planning as reflexive practitioners.
We follow-up the programme a series of e-learning provocations that comprise brief inputs and memory aids to support participants in the application of learning.

We provide expert guidance tailored to both the process and the unique context of your work.
