Foundation Coaching Skills

Providing the core knowledge, skills and competencies that can be applied in a coaching relationship

Our intermediate level EMCC Accredited Foundation Coaching Skills programme enables your staff to deepen their practical coaching skills and theoretical knowledge, to support, guide, and inspire others towards meaningful growth and success.

“Very engaging, exciting, applicable and fresh course. I think all in leadership/management roles should do this course. The skills are also relevant in clinical practice”

Support your leaders, managers, and aspiring coaches, with a programme that will enhance their ability to facilitate deeper, more transformational coaching conversations.

TPC Health’s experiential workshops covers the essential coaching topics needed to work as a coach or enable your staff to adopt a coaching approach within their role. We will introduce the key concepts and fundamental pillars of great conversations and how to effectively structure and facilitate a conversation with a coachee, whilst focussing on the participants growth, performance, and enjoyment as a coach.

The content is designed to equip participants with intermediate level coaching skills, techniques, and models, enabling coaches to work effectively with clients, or colleagues and support them in making meaningful changes in areas that matter most to them. Each workshop blends theory, demonstrations, hands-on skills practice, and discussions on the practical application of new skills to individual roles and contexts.

This programme is accredited with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and completion of the programme leads to the European Quality Award (EQA) at Foundation level. Participants wishing to study further can use the award as a fast track towards achieving their European Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Foundation level, subject to meeting the additional criteria required.

“This training was very impactful. I think it was helped by the openness and willingness of the group but the trainer supported this environment, putting everyone at ease and helping us to block out the busy day to focus on the training. I would recommend it to anyone, whether interested specifically in coaching or not”

“Ruth really set the tone for workshop with her calmness, care and compassion. I thought Ruth was a brilliant facilitator – and this made me motivated and more engaged. It was great that we were a small group who know each other well and this also contributed to my learning”
