Transforming Healthcare Through Coaching, Leadership, and Innovation
Our History & Mission
TPC Health has a rich history rooted in leadership and coaching excellence. Originally part of TPC Leadership—previously known as The Performance Coach—we have been dedicated to advancing coaching and leadership in health and social care for over 20 years.
Since 2000, we have worked closely with NHS organisations, social care providers, and private healthcare companies, offering tailored programmes that enhance workforce capability. We have provided 1:1 and team coaching to thousands of clinical and management staff in both primary and secondary care, helping them develop the confidence and skills to drive meaningful change.
We are proud to be at the forefront of health coaching innovation, partnering with organisations to transform how care is delivered. By fostering collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning, we help healthcare professionals stay connected to the communities they serve—creating a lasting impact on population health and wellbeing.
Key Points & Achievements
What makes TPC Health’s approach different and meaningful?
At TPC Health, we believe that true transformation in health and social care comes from meaningful, impactful, and lasting change. Our approach is built on deep collaboration, ensuring that every programme we deliver is tailored to the real needs of practitioners, leaders, and organisations. We don’t just provide training—we create experiences that shift mindsets, build skills, and drive tangible improvements in patient care and workforce wellbeing.
Practical Focus
Our programmes are designed to tackle the real-world challenges that health and social care professionals face daily. We help practitioners develop practical strategies to enhance their practice and support positive behaviour change.
Evidence Based
We base everything we do on scientific research, psychological theories, and proven methodologies. Our interventions are rigorously tested and refined to ensure they are effective, sustainable, and grounded in best practices.
Active Learning
We use a dynamic approach to learning—combining theory, discussions, reflection, group collaboration, and skills practice. This ensures that participants don’t just learn new concepts but experience and internalise them.
Personal Meaning
We make learning deeply personal by connecting it to participants’ own experiences. This creates an appreciation of how techniques can be applied effectively in their roles, making the learning more engaging, relevant, and transformative.
Bridging the Gap Between Knowing & Doing
True change happens when knowledge is turned into practical application. We help professionals think through how to integrate new skills into their daily roles, closing the gap between theory and real-world implementation.
Experiential Process for Learning
We believe that learning is most effective when it follows a cycle of experience, observation, reflection, and action. Our programmes guide participants through real experiences, helping them form new insights and test their learning in different situations, reinforcing long-term growth and adaptation.
Holistic Approach
True development goes beyond knowledge—it involves the head (cognitive learning), the heart (emotional connection), and the hands (practical application). Our approach ensures that learners not only understand new concepts but also feel inspired and gain the skills to confidently apply them in practice.
At TPC Health, we don’t believe in ‘one-size-fits-all’ solutions. Instead, we co-create programmes with our clients, ensuring that every intervention is meaningful, impactful, and truly makes a difference. Our approach empowers individuals and teams to lead with confidence, adapt to change, and create healthier, more connected communities.
